When do you enroll new students?
We enroll new students on a first come, first serve basis. While we do maintain a waiting list, we generally do not have openings during the school year, which runs from September through end of May. From the end of June through August, we transition graduating students to Kindergarten and welcome new students as spots become available. Any new students that do not join us during the summer begin enrollment at the beginning of September. Generally, our first day of school aligns with Montpelier Public Schools.
How do I know you have openings?
If we have an immediate opening, this will be reflected on the Bright Futures website maintained by the Vermont Department of Children and Families. Click above on the check for openings button and openings will be listed under "Vacancy and Capacity Information."
What is your your enrollment process?
Children are enrolled for the coming school year in Mid-March. To fill our enrollment, we begin with our current wait list applicants. At the time of enrollment, families complete a full application and enrollment contract. At this point, we generally know when during the summer enrollment spots will be available.
wait list
You may submit a wait list application at any time. Please be aware that we rarely have a spot open up during the school year (September through May). Wait list applicants will have first priority for enrollment for the coming school year (enrollment beginning July through September).
To get on the waitlist, please complete and return the application below along with a nonrefundable $25 application fee.
(You will receive an email confirmation when your application is recieved)

TOURS
We are a small program and do not have a dedicated Director that can meet with families during the school day. You are invited to arrange a time after school hours (after 5:30 pm or on the weekend) to meet with the Director/Head Teacher and tour the school. After your initial meeting and tour, you are welcome to come and observe anytime during the school day.
