Montpelier Children’s House is a small early childhood education program serving ages 2-5. Please note that our infant program has been discontinued and we are only enrolling children who are 3 years old as of 12/31/26.  Located at 24 Mountainview Street, we provide an inquiry-driven program that is grounded in the belief that children are curious, engaged learners who learn best through hands-on direct experiences and that play is the foundation for authentic learning. We give priority to the development of social and emotional skills and fostering the growth of strong and meaningful relationships between children and caregivers. We provide a structured, high-quality prepared learning environment in which the children function independently and highly qualified teachers that are knowledgeable in and committed to play-based, responsive early education.
